The Nativity Varsity
Boys’ Basketball Team recently completed it’s perfect season of 24
wins and 0 losses by defeating Christ the King Catholic School 48-24
in the Catholic Youth Athletic Association tournament finals.
The CYAA is made up
of Catholic schools throughout Hillsborough County and this was its
50th year in existence.
This was
Nativity’s second title in a row and seventh overall.
Dating back to
last season, Nativity has won 34 straight games without a loss.
Along with achieving perfection in it’s league, Nativity also
defeated two 9th grade teams and one 10th
grade team. |
