Yearbook

This group is for 7th and 8th grade.  Their purpose is to produce the Nativity Catholic School Yearbook.

Students will have an introduction to basic journalism.  They will learn how to do layouts, crop pictures, write copy, and take the responsibility of particular pages.  They also learn how to work together and assist one another.  They also have learned how to use a yearbook publication program which allows them to prepare and edit layouts and copy.

Activities planned for the year: besides the sense of accomplishment the students have when their publication arrives, they frequently have "energizer" treats and a pizza party when they are finished.
