The 2016 Spring Gala Committee would like to thank everyone for their contribution in the success of the Back to the 80’s Gala. After results were tabulated, we are pleased to report the Gala event netted over $40,000 in profit to directly benefit the students of Nativity Catholic School.
In addition to the profit raised by the event, donations were received for the Fund-A-Need item – Sunshades for the playground! The Sunshade project was completed in September 2016 on the PreK playground.
We thank you for your generosity and look forward to hosting this important school fundraising event again (second largest annually) at the Sr. Irene St. Jean Gymnasium on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 at 6pm. Save the date now!
We are hard at work to make this year's event a fun-filled good time for all!
New this year!
Families are encouraged to go out into their local communities and ask businesses to advertise at this year’s NCS Gala! Grade levels will compete for a pizza party and a themed dress down day! We will showcase the child who brings in the ad by announcing the child’s name, grade level, and the information about the advertisement on the NCS Morning Show. For multiple siblings, each child in the family will receive credit for their respective class. Families can also donate by crafting a personalized message to your child(ren) for the program. Get busy finding advertisements and watch your grade level horse move toward the finish line!

Dear Friend of Nativity Catholic School,
Every year since 2001, the children of Nativity Catholic School in Brandon have benefitted from the annual Gala. This fun-filled evening, including dinner, dancing, entertainment, as well as both a silent and live auction, has grown to become a major fundraising event for our school. Over the past 16 years, funds raised have improved our school’s technology, promoted the fine arts, provided valuable classroom resources, and upgraded physical education equipment.
Since Nativity Catholic School depends in large part on the generous support of friends and supporters of our local community, we ask you to please consider making a donation to our Gala, so we can continue to offer our students the highest quality Catholic education possible. We know you will want to be part of this special event to be held at 6pm on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 in the school gymnasium, and we are counting on your continuous support to make this year’s Gala a huge success!
As always, we are seeking items, gift certificates, coupons/vouchers for products, as well as services to be auctioned during the event’s silent and live auction. We are also seeking sponsors for our event (levels of sponsorship are outlined on the attached page). As a prominent business and community partner, we would like to offer you the first opportunity to reach hundreds families participating that evening, as well as receive recognition at the event and in pre-event promotions, including our parish bulletin, promotional flyers, Facebook page, and event website.
On the right hand column of this page, you will find our Gala event forms. Please know that any contribution benefits every student at Nativity Catholic School (prekindergarten through grade eight). We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Federal Tax ID # 36-4644822.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Lisette Moore through the school’s Volunteer Office at (813) 657-9787 or firstname.lastname@example.org. It is through the generosity of businesses and individuals like yourself, that we are able to continue to fulfill our school’s mission.
Thank you in advance for your supportive donation and investment in the future of our children.

The 2017 Spring Gala preparations are underway, and we are currently looking for sponsors, advertisers and donations for the event. It's a great way to promote your business and support a great cause! Please contact Lisette Deida-Moore in the Volunteer Coordinator's office for more information. Forms available on this page on the right hand column.
Thank you for your support!
It’s that time of year again...time to begin thinking about GALA crafts!
We are looking to you for ideas you might have for crafts. Keep in mind that we will be doing one craft per grade. We feel this will aid in getting the highest price for each item. Also, we would like to begin the bids at $75+. The crafts will be sold during the live auction this year.
We have added photos of a few craft ideas that we are contemplating. Please email us any links or photos of your ideas. In addition, if you are interested in making any of the crafts, please let us know. Remember the hours can go towards your volunteer hours. If you are artistic, this is a great opportunity to use your time & talent to help the school.
Thank you in advance!!
