Letter from Florida Department of Health All parents are asked to read this letter. Parents must strictly comply with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for keeping a sick child home for at least 24 hours after he/she no longer has fever or no longer has signs of fever, without using fever reducing drugs or medications. We all need to work together to reduce the spread of flu on school campuses.
Pope Benedict XVI has declared a “Year for Priests” beginning with the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 19, 2009. The year will conclude in Rome with an international gathering of priests with the Holy Father from June 9-11, 2010.
