Novemberfest News

Novemberfest is Nativity Catholic Church and School's most beloved annual event and largest fundraiser, raising approximately $200,000 annually to support the school, faith formation, and parish ministries, including offsetting tuition costs for families and other expenses.

It takes about 9,000 volunteer hours to plan, execute, and manage Novemberfest. Each school family is required to volunteer for 10 service hours. There are endless opportunities to get involved, and the event provides an amazing weekend of fellowship, teamwork, celebration, and dedication!

We look forward to sharing this opportunity with you.

Novemberfest Service Hours

A friendly reminder of your Novemberfest service hours commitment each school year. Per our Family Handbook:

"Each household must complete 10 (or more) Novemberfest service hours during Novemberfest. (Set up, clean up, procure raffle items, serve on a committee or as a food booth chair, etc.)

Novemberfest hours are due on the first Friday of December each school year. If the household hours are incomplete, $1,000 will be automatically added to your FACTS agreement and charged to your financial account."

We will post all Novemberfest volunteer opportunities in Better Impact/My Impact . Be sure to check your My Impact app.

Talent Show Registration
  • Thank you for your interest in performing in this year's Talent Show!

The show will take place on Thursday, November 21st, and Friday, November 22nd, at 2:30pm in the main tent. Only one form per group/act needs to be completed.

All submissions must be submitted by 3pm, Friday, November 8, 2024.

All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend the Talent Show. If a parent or guardian cannot attend, the parent or guardian may designate an adult to pick up the child at dismissal. The child is then the adult's responsibility for the talent show's duration. All children must be SIGNED OUT by the designated adult at the show's end.

    • Please be sure that all performers are available for either date.
    • The show will start promptly at 2:30pm. Students must be under the big tent, dressed and ready, by 2:15pm on the day of the show.
    • There will not be a dress rehearsal.  A performance schedule will be published by November 18th.
    • If the performance requires that music be played with the act, the song must be submitted in the form below. Please understand that spots cannot be guaranteed if the music needed is not uploaded here.
    • There will be three (3) microphones and one (1) electric keyboard on stage. Please be prepared to provide anything else you might need for your child's performance.
    • Students will be able to wear their costumes to school on the day of the show. Please make sure the costume is Nativity-appropriate and modest.  The students participating in the Novemberfest Talent Show are representing Nativity Catholic School. The dress code follows school dress-down guidelines, and all aspects of the show, including lyrics and themes, should reflect our Catholic values. Exceptions to the dress could be dance attire in a dance routine, make-up, headwear, etc. Modest dress and appropriate music are the expectations of the students representing our school. If you are unsure if the costume, lyrics, or themes are appropriate, please contact Mr. Amrhein.
