NOVEMBERFEST 101

WHAT is Novemberfest? ~ It is a HUGE carnival that our parish and the school host for the community in November! There are rides, entertainment, terrific food, and MUCH, MUCH MORE!!! It is a lot of work, but even more fun!!

WHEN is Novemberfest? ~ The event will be held from Thursday, November 20th, through Sunday, November 23rd. Thursday and Friday are Noon Dismissal Days for our students, and our NFEST family days begin at Noon – 4:00 p.m. Students will be allowed to wear Novemberfest t-shirts to school on Thursday and Friday to celebrate Novemberfest. Much more information will follow!

WHO is Novemberfest for?  ~ Everyone! All ages enjoy Novemberfest!

WHERE is Novemberfest? ~ The event takes place mainly on the large field on the corner of Bryan Road and HWY 60.

WHY Novemberfest? ~ The event is our school’s largest fundraiser and brings in about 150K of revenue for the school, faith formation, and parish ministries. The largest percentage goes to fund our parish school to offset tuition and other expenses.

Each school family, per your enrollment contract, is obligated to work 10 hours. There are TONS of opportunities to get involved in the month ahead, during the event weekend, and after. School families can also volunteer more than 10 hours, and the credit will go towards their General Service Hour requirement.

The Better Impact App is the location to sign up for all Novemberfest service hours. Create your Better Impact account at https://bit.ly/NCSBetterImpact.   Volunteer opportunities will be available and tracked throughout the school year through this app.

Talent Show Registration
  • Thank you for your interest in performing in this year's Talent Show!

The show will take place on Thursday, November 20th, and Friday, November 21st, at 2:30pm in the main tent. Only one form per group/act needs to be completed.

All submissions are due by 8am, Monday, November 10, 2025.

All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend the Talent Show. If a parent or guardian is unable to attend, they may designate an adult to pick up the child at dismissal. The child is then the adult's responsibility for the duration of the talent show. All children must be SIGNED OUT by the designated adult at the show's end.

    • Please ensure that all performers are available on the date they sign up for.
    • The show will start promptly at 2:30pm. Students must be under the big tent, dressed and ready, by 2:15pm on the day of the show.
    • There will not be a dress rehearsal. A performance schedule will be published by November 17th.
    • If the performance requires that music be played with the act, the song must be submitted in the form below. Please note that spots cannot be guaranteed if the required music is not uploaded here.
    • There will be three (3) microphones and one (1) electric keyboard on stage. Please be prepared to provide any additional items your child may need for their performance.
    • Students will be able to wear their costumes to school on the day of the show. Please make sure the costume is Nativity-appropriate and modest. The students participating in the Novemberfest Talent Show are representing Nativity Catholic School. The dress code follows school dress-down guidelines, and all aspects of the show, including lyrics and themes, should reflect our Catholic values. Exceptions to the dress code may include dance attire for a dance routine, makeup, and headwear. Modest dress and appropriate music are the expectations of the students representing our school. If you are unsure if the costumes, lyrics, or themes are appropriate, please contact Mr. Amrhein.
