Our Varsity and JV Volleyball teams brought their A-game last Tuesday against St. Joseph Catholic School! They showed incredible skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship both on and off the court. We’re so proud of the way our Cougars played hard, cheered loudly, and supported one another! A big shout-out also goes to our amazing coaches, Coach Mari and Coach Feist! Join us in cheering them on at their next home game against Christ the King on September 22. Let’s fill the stands and show our support! #GoCougars!

Modeling Stream Table Lab. The 6th graders used a stream table to model how flowing water changes landforms. Students observed the patterns created by water and compared them to evidence from a channel on Mars. Using this evidence, they determined whether the Martian channel was more likely to have been formed by flowing water or lava.

A day of blessings as Deacon Joe and Deacon Bob visited our classrooms to bless our students, teachers, and classroom crucifixes for the school year. They reminded our students to always look to the cross for hope, guidance, and strength, knowing that Jesus is always with them.

This morning’s all-school Mass was celebrated by Father George and assisted by Deacon Joe. Thank you to our 6th graders for beautifully hosting the Mass. Father George delivered a heartfelt homily on love, inviting our students to reflect on what love truly means. Our students were so engaged, offering thoughtful and meaningful answers about what love is. Today’s First Reading from St. Paul’s Letter to the Corinthians gave us the perfect reminder: “Love is patient, love is kind.” St. Paul reminds us that love is more than just a feeling—it is how we treat others, how we forgive, how we serve, and how we choose to care for one another. What a wonderful message to carry with us throughout our day: Love is not just something we feel. Love is how we choose to treat people—especially when it is difficult. Have a great day, Nativity!
