Pre-K4 recently concluded an enriching study of architecture with a celebration for the children and families. The PreK4 classes enjoyed their 3rd annual Building God's Community event, where the children focused their time and learning in class on the core areas of their lives where God is most present: their home, church, school, and their animals. They spent the last four weeks building and painting buildings and various items to go with each building: a church - the center of their faith, a house - the center of their family lives, a school - the foundation of their academic being, and a barn - to represent the gift of animals that God has given our wonderful world.
During the event, families engaged in interactive activities at each station, allowing them to participate meaningfully in the learning experience. It was a wonderful day filled with creativity, learning, and community bonding.
